​LASER PROTECTION

Malicious use of high power laser pointers on aircraft is rapidly growing. Our solution is to use our plastic display technology to make an active shutter that can block the laser light.

MEDICINE ADHERENCE

​It is estimated that up to half of prescribed medicines are not used as intended and the consequences on the healthcare industry is massive. with SBRI Healthcare funding we developed and trialled a prototype system called 'My Health Tags' to help improve medicine adherence.

SMART alcohol labelling

In September 2017 the University of Bristol conceived a new and exciting concept to measure alcohol consumption, partnering with Folium Optics to create a prototype device.

We continue to push the boundaries of how our plastic displays can shape the worlds around us, or follow existing shapes. Our innovations offer product designers, architects and other creative technologists more freedom in adding function and form to surfaces.

FLASHING REFLECTORS

New technology that could help cyclists be more visible and stay safe. Our animated reflector ​switches between bright white and an eye catching colour.
